Our story (the abridged version)
The idea for fabfinders.com was hatched one day when two friends met up for afternoon tea.
I asked Kari if she could recommend a tailor who could replace the lining in a vintage coat
my grandmother had given me. I'd tried finding recommendations online, but was frustrated because
I couldn't find a site with the functionality and information I was looking for. Kari agreed
and we talked about how it was too bad such a site didn't exist.
And that's how fabfinders.com came about. Of course, it took another three years for it
to actually come to fruition. But that's a tale for another time.
Hopefully, you'll find this site easy-to-use and a place where you can connect with and
share information in a safe, positive environment – just as we intended it to be.
